  • What payment methods are accepted?
    Visa, Master Card, Diners Club, American Express and Discover Cards along with certified cheques and Travelers cheques are accepted for rentals. Cash is also accepted.
  • What if the car I choose is not available?
    We reserve the right to substitute comparable vehicle when specified unit is not available.
  • If I crash a car, what happens?
    Our Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is designed to provide you with added protection and peace of mind during your car rental. In the unfortunate event of an accident, the CDW reduces your liability to the agreed deposit amount. This means that you are responsible for paying only the deposit specified in the rental agreement, and the remaining costs associated with the damage will be covered by the CDW, up to the limits outlined in the rental terms. It's important to carefully review the rental agreement and understand the terms and conditions of the CDW coverage. While the CDW significantly reduces your liability, it may not cover certain situations such as driving under the influence, off-road use, or other violations of the rental agreement. As always, our primary goal is to ensure your safety and satisfaction. If you have any questions regarding the CDW or any other aspects of our rental services, our friendly customer support team will be more than happy to assist you.   • What is the age requirement to rent a vehicle?
    The minimim age to rent a car is 30 years old. Drivers between 22 and 30 years old will attract a surcharge of $20 daily.
  • Is there a cost for additional driver(s)?
    At Ucal's Car Rental, there is an additional fee of US$10 per day for an extra driver, except for spouses. We are pleased to inform you that if your additional driver is your spouse, they will not incur any extra charges. As long as both the primary renter and the spouse meet the rental qualifications, the spouse can be added as an additional driver at no additional cost. This policy is designed to make it convenient for couples to share driving responsibilities during their rental period.
  • Are there additional rates for mileage?
    All rates offer unlimited miles.
  • Is there a cancellation period?
    One rental day is a period of 24 hours. After one “1” hour you will be charge per hour after 3 hours you will be charge for an additional day. Also if you decide to cut short your rental period, please call us before checking in to avoid being charged for an additional day.
  • What is the driver's license requirement?
    Your Driver’s license must be 1 year or older.
  • Are there any taxes?
    16.5% on all rentals is what the Government requires which is charged at the checkout.
  • How will I get the vehicle?
    There will be a free shuttle to and from Donald Sangster Int.Airport(MBJ). Upon arrival exit toward public pick area where authorized representative will meet and greet.
  • Are tolls included in the car rental cost, or do I need to pay separately during my trip?
    At our car rental company, all toll charges are the responsibility of the customers. During your trip, you will be required to pay tolls separately as you encounter them. This ensures that you have control over your toll expenses and only pay for the tolls you personally incur.
  • Do you offer roadside assistance?
    We're glad to offer complimentary roadside assistance with our car rentals to provide you with peace of mind during your journey. If you encounter any issues like a flat tire or mechanical breakdown, our roadside assistance service will be available to help you get back on the road promptly. However, it's important to note that while roadside assistance is free of cost, any expenses related to repairing or replacing rims and tires will be the responsibility of the customer. This includes damage caused by potholes, curbs, or any other road hazards. We highly recommend being vigilant while driving and taking necessary precautions to avoid potential damage to the rims and tires. In case of any emergencies or if you require roadside assistance, don't hesitate to contact our dedicated support team who will be ready to assist you.
  • What are the driver's license requirements and limitations for renting a car?
    To rent a car, customers must meet specific driver's license requirements. The primary requirement is that renters must possess a valid driver's license with at least two years of driving experience. This means that your driver's license must have been issued at least two years before the rental date. Additionally, the driver's license should be in good standing, without any major violations or suspensions. We also require that the driver's license be presented in its original form and be written in English or accompanied by an official translation if it is in a foreign language. Rest assured, we have these requirements in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and others on the road.
